I got a GMail account!! I had tried signing up for it before but was put on the waiting list. Then yesterday I logged into my Blogger account and found out that Google is offering all Blogger users a first shot at testing a GMail account. I signed up and got accepted immediately. 1 GB of mail space is awesome! I’ll never have to clear out my mailbox for a long, long time!

I’ve also found a new keyword research tool this week that provides you with the supply vs. demand for any keyword that you type in. It gets the number of searches from WordTracker (not sure if it’s from the paid or free version) and the number of pages listed in Google SERPs. I found a couple of bugs with it but there’s no contact info provided for the author of the program so there’s no way to send feedback.

I started 3 Adwords campaigns this past week.

Here are the stats:

New campaign #1 (3 ad groups) 172 clicks 6,807 impressions 2.5% CTR 1 sale

New campaign #2 (1 ad group) 115 clicks 8,009 impressions 1.4% CTR 1 sale

New campaign #3 (1 ad group) 110 clicks 2,360 impressions 4.6% CTR 0 sale

Campaign 2 is still profitable and Campaigns 1 and 3 are still in the red.

    I came across this news article about this guy in Mexico who created an application where you can check off the "star" entries in Gmail and have them automatically converted to entries in your blog. I'm not sure what the advantage of this is - maybe there's something I'm missing.
