A good way to look for new products to sell is by looking at what people are searching for. One plan of attack would be to spend one day a week doing this.

For example, check out Google Zeitgeist for the top Searches of 2004. Scroll down the page and you will see the top searches on Froogle for consumer electronics, clothing, computers, shoes, etc. These should give you some ideas on products that you can develop. Or if you prefer affiliate marketing, then do a search for the product name + affiliate program.

Also, if you click on the item on the product list, you will be sent to a search page. Look on the bottom left hand side, and you will see a list of merchants selling the product. That’s also a great place to look for affiliate programs.
