Overture will soon be changing its name to Yahoo Search Marketing Solutions. This will be the second time it undergoes a name change since it was originally called Goto.com.
Overture also sent me an email yesterday saying that submitted listings will be online in an hour. Previously it was something like 2-3 business days. I guess the search engine marketing wars are heating up and Yahoo! has to keep up with Google’s momentum.
That’s good news… but still no match for Google Adwords which gets your listings live in as little as 15 minutes (although I’ve seen shorter times).
