Secret To Get On The First Page Of Google
So far, comparing the CTR of YPN with AdSense, the average for YPN is about 1/3 of that of AdSense. The CPM is all over the map for YPN. So far, I’ve been testing it for about 2 weeks. Broke the 4-digit barrier for total earnings a couple of days ago. Having said that, I still have more sites with Adsense than YPN. I think that targeted ads is still a major issue. When I first put up YPN on my sites, I suspect that the ads get some clicks out of curiosity even if they aren’t related to the website topic. But after some time, the clicks tend to drop off. The other problem I see with YPN is with the leaderboard format. They are showing 4 ads across but the titles are cut off as a result of Yahoo allowing more characters for the title than AdWords.

1Hey Hock,
Congrats on your 4 digit day, dang :)
Targeting my YPN ads is awfully hard. Ad blocking is not working perperly either. It’s showing a gay ad on my Bible site and I can’t block it. werid. Anyway, CTR is very low for me compared to Adsense.
I’m glad it’s working well for you.

2Bo,
I wish it were a 4-digit day! Actually, it’s 4-digits total. ;)
There are still some things YPN’s got to iron out but I’m sure with time they’ll get it figured out. You can try calling them or emailing them your feedback.
