I’ve seen quite a few sites displaying Chitika minimall ads. These work espcially well if you have a site that’s shopping oriented.

The ad you’ll notice look like this:

(Note: This is a graphic of the actual ad. It’s not clickable. I haven’t figured out how to display Chitika ads in a post except for including the code into the template file.)

If you’re going to put Chitika ads on pages with AdSense, make sure to turn the contextual feature off. You’ll need this line in your code:

ch_non_contextual = 1;

To make things easier, as there are many AdSense publishers out there, Chitika has included this in the default code.

You can also specify the keywords you want to target, for example:

var ch_queries = new Array(”digital cameras”, “ipod mini”, “sony playstation”, “dell laptop”);

With the biggest shopping season of the year coming up, it’s a good time to include another revenue stream for your shopping related website or blog.
