I just checked into my Chitika stats and noticed a new feature. You can now track by channels. Setting up the channels is easy.
According to the Chitika FAQ:
Can I get SID level/channel stats breakdown?
Yes. By adding ch_sid = ‘XXXX’;
to the code you will be able to track performance by channel.Replace XXXX with a meaningful channel name of your choice. You get to define your own meaningful channel names. Reporting by SID will be available shortly
The ability to track by channel means that you can now check the performance of your sites in detail. You can even track different positions of ad placement and different pages of your site. Just give each ad a different tracking channel and then monitor the results after a few days. It’s best to make only a SINGLE change and track the performance after a few days. Then make another change and track. Compare the results and go with the winner. Just make sure you get a decent number of clicks before you decide the winner.
