I just got accepted into MSN adCenter which is in beta. My first impressions:
I like the ability to specify different bids for different target groups based on gender and age. I don’t know how MSN can determine that but more testing is needed to see if the conversions are better. Can’t do that sort of targeting with Yahoo or AdWords. I created a campaign, submitted my keywords and they were approved within a day or two. I still like the instant approval of AdWords. It’s the internet age - we don’t like to wait!
There is one thing that I noticed though. The MSN adCenter website doesn’t seem to work right with Firefox which is what I use most of the time. But it works just fine with Internet Explorer. Do you think this is done deliberately to get users to switch back to IE?
