Chitika posted audited affiliate earnings for November and December and has paid for November affiliate earnings. I got mine yesterday. You can read about it in the official Chitika blog as well.
Comparing the unaudited and audited earnings, it looks like I took a 20% reduction for November. Uggh! December was much better at about 4%. Jensense reported only a 5% reduction in her earnings for November and 3% for December. Here’s a snippet from the Chitika blog that may explain why December numbers are closer to the unaudited values:
For December you can expect to see a smaller difference between the daily raw click stats and the final audited revenue reports, when compared to November, because in December we completed releasing an update to our daily reporting system so that clicks from unsupported countries are dynamically filtered from the daily raw click reports.
They are also expanding into several European countries which is a good thing. Maybe the folks at Chitika are finally getting their act together after a rough start.
For those of you who don’t know this, Chitika also has a second-tier affiliate program. Those you recruit to join Chitika will earn you 10% of what they earn. Commissions from the second-tier are paid for 12 months following each referral’s approval date. Chitika will pay you 30 days following the end of the month that your commissions are earned provided that your total revenue has exceeded $10 (for PayPal) and $50 (for check where PayPal is not available).
