In the past year or so I have been focusing on building up passive income through contextual advertising with Google AdSense and Yahoo Publisher Network. As a result, I have not been focusing on promoting affiliate programs as much as I did before. Sure, I have affiliate links on my network of sites but most of the revenue was coming from contextual advertising.

I just read this ebook which is getting me motivated once again to turn my focus on affiliate marketing and increase that revenue stream. Jeremy, who writes this book, is a CJ Performer, and also CJ’s 2005 Horizon Award winner for innovation. Last year, he made over $1,000,000 in affiliate commissions.

I’m most impressed with the clearly laid out blueprints for keyword research and bidding strategies. I’ve read Rosalind Gardner’s Super Affiliate Handbook which is an excellent read but is now a few years old. Still I gained new insights from Jeremy’s book.

Among the topics covered are:

- How to select the right products to promote.

- Keyword research which is absolutely crucial for success in affiliate marketing and also PPC advertising.

- Types of websites to build. Here, he shows off two of his actual websites. Of course, he has hundreds in his network. He also discusses how to design, plan, and structure your sites.

- Driving traffic to your sites. How to use Google AdWords and Yahoo Search Marketing effectively. Some good (advanced) tips are covered in here.

High Performance Affiliate Marketing is definitely a good addition to my library.
