I just signed up to request for an expedited invitation to try out the new Yahoo Search Marketing platform. To do that, you can visit the upgrade site. This is something that I’ve been waiting for for a long time. The features that I’m most excited about is the ad testing feature (maybe it’s similar to Google AdWords rotating ads) and the instant ad activation (within minutes). One thing that really held me back from really fully testing out the old Overture/YSM advertising system was the 3-5 business days wait to have your ad approved. I guess I’m spoiled by the instant approval and activation of AdWords. Well, I guess I’ll now have to wait till I get my invitation.
