I was beginning to wonder why I wasn’t getting any comments to this blog and I finally got the answer today. Brian from FloristOne (see my previous post) was trying to comment on my review of their affiliate program. He emailed me to tell me that he couldn’t post a comment to my blog. I tested it and sure enough, everytime I try to post a comment and click submit, I get a blank screen.

I did a search on Google and found a possible solution, i.e. deactivating all plugins and reactivating them again. This didn’t work. I also upgraded to the latest version of WP. Still no luck. Finally I tried unchecking all the options for requiring commenters to have at least one approved comment and it finally worked. I had turned that option on a while back when I was getting tons of spam comments. Looks like I’ll have to monitor the comment queue for a few days to make sure it isn’t overwhelmed.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
