Shawn Collins of AffiliateTip wrote about MySpace vs. Scott Richter. MySpace accuses Mr. Richter of using MySpace accounts to send spam. In case you don’t know, Scott Richter is the CEO of Media Breakaway, LLC which owns CPAEmpire, a popular affiliate network for pay-per-action offers (do I hear ringtones?). 

You can check out the press release from MySpace which is owned by Rupert Murdoch’s Fox Interactive Media. Media Breakaway has responded by saying that they haven’t been served the court papers and they have only heard about the lawsuit through the press release. Seems a bit strange to me. Anyway, we should keep an eye on this to see if it will affect CPAEmpire operations.
