I’m going to start a few posts on some of my favorite WP plugins. To start off, if you use shortstat, you are going to save yourself a lot of time. Instead of checking your website stats on your webhosting control panel (cPanel or WHM), you can look at them right on your WP dashboard. This gives me an idea of how much traffic I’m getting to the blog as well as the RSS feed.

It also tells me the keywords that searchers are using to find my blog. Beside that, you can also see referring domains, pages with hits, languages, countries and the type of browsers being used.

Not surprisingly, a lot of people are finding this blog through the term “google arbitrage” on Google since I’m listed in the #1 spot. Another interesting thing is that I’m getting quite a bit of traffic from Google image search. If you do a search for “google fridge”, I’m listed in the #2 spot. That’s for the nice little fridge that Google sent me for pumping so much money into AdWords.
