I got Domain Dashboard earlier this year (it was recommended by Allen Says) and I’ve been using it to manage all my domains, well almost all. It only works with Cpanel and WHM but not with DirectAdmin. I have some sites that are hosted on a server that uses DirectAdmin as the management interface so I can’t include those with Domain Dashboard.

What the software does is to help you with managing all your domains in one place. You can check the number of pages indexed, backlinks, PR, traffic, keyword rankings all in one place. It also generates charts of all the data which is a handy function. Sometimes, getting an overview of everything gives you more insight than looking at just a small set of the data. I use this function to see how many pages of any site get indexed or de-indexed over time for the big 3 (Google, Yahoo, MSN).

The other functionality I like is the ability to monitor the ranking of any number of keywords or phrases that you specify for a given domain. The program will search for rankings in the big 3 search engines. One way to do this is to grab the list of keywords that people use to find your site from your web stats. Put those keywords in the list for monitoring and check to see where you rank.

It’s a nice piece of software to have if you have more than 20 or so domains. Right now, I have way too many domains and I’m trying to consolidate some of them and get rid of the others. I had registered a lot of .info domains when I was doing arbitrage and I’ve decided to let most of them go. From now on, I’m going to register .coms only.
