EBay has recently pulled out all their ads from Google AdWords. Apparently, the folks at EBay didn’t appreciate that Google was trying to poach the attendees of the EBay Live conference in Boston to their Google Checkout Freedom Party. Google is trying to push Google Checkout to compete against PayPal. On the other hand, EBay is the biggest advertiser on AdWords. According to comScore, their ads showed up 188.3 million times in March. Guess who’s number 2? Target. Read the news story here.
