The idea of a super affiliate lifestyle is surely enticing to a lot of people. Who wouldn’t want to be able to travel around the world all the while having a bank account that automatically gets filled with affiliate earnings on autopilot? Super affiliates generally “sell” the affiliate lifestyle on their blogs. Judging from the comments left on most of the super affiliate blogs, it is clear that many are attracted to these blogs because of the “dream” that they can someday become a super affiliate.

Easy money? Definitely not. Although it takes a lot of hard work to achieve sustained success, I’ve read a number of blogs where it seems that everything comes so easily and this can be quite misleading.

I think that many folks want to become super affiliates without asking themselves the “why” or “what” question. In other words, why are you doing what you’re doing? Or what are you doing to make the world a better place? Maybe if you answer these questions, you will be more focused on achieving your affiliate marketing goals. Making money purely for the sake of money tends to lead to burnout.

Newbies tend to focus too much on the bottom line. Instead, focus on building a sustainable business. Keep on learning as much as possible. It’s also important to have a business plan. This is like a map that will show you where you need to go. Once you have a plan and execute it, then you can measure the results and make changes to your plan.
