Secret To Get On The First Page Of Google
Here are how the BlogRush referral levels (up to 10 levels) work. You get credits for impressions you show on your blog. So 1:1 means you get 1 credit for each impression of the widget either on your blog or on your referral’s blog.
Credit-to-impression ratios:
Your Traffic = 1:1
1st Generation Of Referrals (Directly From You) = 1:1
2nd Generation Of Referrals (i.e. Jen in the video) = 1:1
3rd - 6th Generation Of Referrals = 1:4
7th - 10th Generation Of Referrals = 1:8
What does this mean?
What it means is that unless you’ve got a popular blog and you’ve signed up thousands of people, for most of you, you’re not going to see much traffic out of this unless you’re doing something *radically* different to generate a downline. If you’ve installed the widget on your blog, just take notice of the blogs that keep showing up on the widget. Those are the ones that have the largest number of credits.

BlogRush Widget - More Traffic To Your Blog
I've just installed the BlogRush widget on the sidebar. Let's wait a week or so and see if the traffic levels to this blog increases. Since it's free, why not. According to the BlogRush site:
BlogRush is a "Cooperative Syndication Network" that rewards its users for their contributions to the network
Something Fishy About BlogRush
I noticed while I was reading another blog that had installed BlogRush the following:
Notice that the first item in the list is "Where Did All The Good Affiliate Programs Go.." which links to Zac Johnson's blog. Curious, I clicked on the link to the blog but nowhere on the blog
Entrecard - 125×125 Ad Exchange
Entrecard is an ad exchange network that I discovered today. They call themselves the "Internet Business Card" but it's really just an ad exchange system for bloggers. You get credits based on "dropping" your business card on other blogs that display the Entrecard widget.

Secret To Get On The First Page of Google
Well now if I tell you how to do it, it won't be a secret anymore, would it?
I was doing a customary Google search on "BlogRush" and this is what shows up on the first page of the search results:
The first one has nothing to do with the product

1I agree with you. I think that most of people who will benefit the most are the well known bloggers who already have a large following.

2If there are too many people who place their BlogRush widget right at the bottom just to earn impressions, it won’t help either.
But since it opens in a new browser, no harm using it.

3I closed my BlogRush account in December 2007 after noticing that it was not bringing me any real traffic. I have meanwhile fallen in love with EntreCard, which in my view, is country miles better than BlogRush.
