tacobell.jpgYes, I am a member of the Red Sox Nation and tonight is yet another reason October is my favorite month of the year. The Boston Red Sox will take on the Rockies in Game 4 of the World Series. If you don’t watch the World Series, then you may have missed the marketing that Taco Bell is doing. It basically goes like this - if anyone steals a base during the World Series, Taco Bell will give away free tacos. And it happened in Game 2 when Jacoby Ellsbury stole second base.

So, on October 30th, this Tuesday, everyone will get a free taco at a participating Taco Bell (how do we find out if they’re participating?) between 2-5pm. My guess is that most people will not just get the free taco, but they’ll also order a drink, some nachos, etc. So I think this is a great promotion for Taco Bell. On top of that, there’s the free media coverage that they get from running such a promotion.
