According to Nielson Online, the number visitors per month for Wordpress.com blogs went from 2.7 million a year ago to over 10 million in Sep. 07. That’s a 290% jump in traffic compared to Blogger’s 50% growth from close to 20 million to almost 30 million. You can see the entire table here. According to the same report, PerezHilton and Engadget get over 2 million visitors per month. Another AOL network blog ThatsFit with about 1.7 million visitors per month round out the top 10.

To compare the number of links, we see that the #10 blog has more than 689,000 links according to Yahoo. PerezHilton has over 200,000 links.
