For those who want to master PPC (specifically Google AdWords), Geordie’s blog is a good one to check out. A few of his recent posts covers topics like tips for starting a new campaign, tips for landing page designs, etc.

Landing pages are something that I would like to learn more about. I have designed some myself and for inspiration, I can always find those that I think are effective and learn from them. Most of the time, I start with sending traffic direct to the merchant to see how it converts first. And landing pages don’t work for all types of offers. I think they work best for things like services (e.g. insurance, financial, legal, education).

- High-Contrast, Punchy Colors

- Imagery that invokes emotion

- Meaningful, well-written calls to action
