Google Analytics is a great product for webmasters who want to get a better (more in-depth) view of their website stats. It gives you more details than typical stats packages that come with most standard webhosting like Awstats and Webalizer.

However, the question that you should ask yourself is “Do I want to register all my websites with Google Analytics?” Do you want to let them have access to YOUR traffic stats?
