I just saw this in my AdWords account regarding changes to the conversion tracking system:
As part of this redesign, you’ll notice that you can now name and describe the types of conversions that you wish to have tracked by defining actions. You can classify each action as one of 5 separate types: Purchase, Lead, Signup, Pageview, and Other.
Cool. I’ve always wanted to track conversions for newsletter signups. Now with this change I can do it.
