It’s a good idea to make your site as unique as possible. Don’t make it obvious that it’s an eBay “thin affiliate” site. Instead of having the item listings above the fold on the home page, you can have an article that describes what your site is about. Link to other resources related to your niche as well. You could also link to relevant videos. Offer a newsletter to collect subscribers, a list of top 10 tips, etc.
