I just discovered this totally cool text editor that I have to share with you. It helps you focus on what you are writing because it completely blacks out the screen except for whatever you type.

You can customize the color of the text on the black background as well. So if you like the retro green text like the old DOS machines, you can make it look like that.
What’s more, it makes this typing sound like you’re typing on a typewriter. Yes, I said typewriter. Anybody old enough to remember what it was like to type on a typewwriter?
This was developed with writers in mind but it’s also great for bloggers.
